Kamikaze Helmets is a duo made up of two of the most reputable and in-demand musicians on the rock, blues and funk scene in the state. They have played in bands like Aurora and The Betrayers, Lisa and The Lips, Anaut, Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, SwampDog...
After so many kilometers and nights of rock and roll they have decided to make their own project drinking from influences such as Led Zeppelin, Black Keys, White Stripes... but giving it a current approach and looking to the present and future in the wake from artists like Queens of the Stone Age or Royal Blood. A unique staging with a singing drummer; a sort of bastardized mutation halfway between Boham and Plant, along with the missing link between Stevie Wonder's crushing groove with synthesized moog bass and Hendrix's punchy whammy guitars. And all this dressed for a jump into the void with no return.
Clarence Bekker has the gift of reaching the soul of those who listen to him. With a deep, vibrant and energetic voice that captivates all audiences from top to bottom.
No one can remain indifferent to its magnetism. Under the influence of great figures such as James Brown, Prince, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson or Tina Turner for example, his career has led him to numerous successes. Behind the pseudonym of CB Milton, he has been the main voice of groups of international projection such as Swinging Soul Machine, 08001 or Playing For Cahange, reaching more than 200 million views on the networks.
Settled in Barcelona, this wandering Surinamese has not stopped touring all over the world.
