In an era where everything seems to collapse, artificial intelligences dominate more and more spaces and music becomes a programmed consumer product, Extraño Weys return to the charge faithful to their way of doing things, of building sound and positioning themselves.

“The bees are buzzing but the birds are still singing” is a declaration of intentions and, above all, a new journey to an unexplored cave to extract whatever is hidden there, without worrying about whether they are diamonds or coal. The result, as always, is pure craftsmanship. An honest collage of light and darkness without artifice.

Extraño Weys became known in 2014 with an EP that can already be considered a cult, “Variacions en fu-remoll de la 5a Sinfonia inedita de Roger Linn”. They would then enter a dormant fallow period until the publication, in 2021, of the seminal album “Rodrigo Laviña y su combo”, Enderrock award for best urban music album 2022. And now finally the long-awaited sequel arrives.
