The Nación Funk collective presents its furious soul band, born from the interaction between musicians from the Catalan soul, funk, jazz and hip-hop scene.
Lalo López has gathered a musical family to reclaim the southern soul of labels such as Stax or Hi-fi and the raw sound of Willie Mitchell, Syl Johnson or O.V. Wright, when at the end of the 60s the genre began to receive the influence of funk.
The result is a fast-paced show full of exciting and dramatic moments, which this time will feature the impressive voice and presence of Jonathan Herrero (A Contrablues, Rambalaya).
More than a concert, a declaration of love for an era and a way of understanding music.
