A vigorous review of his legacy in a soul show with a carefully chosen repertoire avoiding falling into nostalgia, but with all the weight of the King of Soul’s legacy. Six musicians and three vocalists on stage, in a show directed by Lalo López, guitarist and composer of Fundació Tony Manero.

When they have just completed 50 years without the brilliant African-American vocalist, the Barcelona black scene pays tribute to Otis Redding in a show that revitalizes his classics. And it does so with an all-star integrated with the best musicians of the soul and funk scene of the moment.

The objective is none other than to emulate the strength and soul of Otis’ live performances, taking as a reference to build the show the incredible live album Otis Redding In Person At The Whisky A Go Go. This is not a tribute band, this is a show made with respect, love and feeling. The Otis Redding Show is an hour and a half of non-stop soul that will lift your spirits and keep your feet moving.
